19.7 Legacy Series / Re: Wireguard plugin missing
« on: August 24, 2019, 12:45:32 pm »
Thanks for the reply. I gave that a try and no luck..

I think I may have installed the dev version a while back, before 19.7 came out so that might be somewhere in the files still.

I've just tried restoring the config onto a different Opnsense box and Wireguard is showing up fine so I guess it's a corrupt install which I will need to wipe.

19.7 Legacy Series / Wireguard plugin missing
« on: August 23, 2019, 08:38:32 pm »
I am running 19.7.2 and do not have the Wireguard plugin showing up on the list of installable plugins

I have looked on a couple of other Opnsense boxes I have running, and it shows up on all of them but I can't see why it doesn't on this one.

I have tried a reset to defaults to see if this will sort out the issue with no luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated! (or am I going to have to re-install Opnsense on the mSSD drive from the latest build?)

19.7 Legacy Series / DDNS config not working with .uk domains
« on: August 23, 2019, 02:43:30 pm »
I have been trying to use DDNS with a .uk domain that is registered with namecheap and it will not update.

I tried switching to a .co.uk domain and that works fine but I need to get the .uk working really.

I keep getting the following error in the logs, but no errors when I use the .co.uk, so is this a know bug in the DDNS client?

(I am going to try to factory reset this Opnsense box and see if we that helps, as it appears there is some config issue that's making Wireguard not appear in the plugin sections on this one)

Thanks for your replies... I ended up having to get a Netgear LB2120, put it in bridge mode via ethernet and that worked without an issue. (spent too much time with no success on the dongle that I had to cut my losses    :) )

This is the unit I am using, which said it supports PPP / Linux, rather than the hilink version which I assume was the h model:

Huawei Unlocked E3372-153 LTE/4G 150 Mbps USB Dongle (Black) - Serial Port Version (PPP) for use in Router systems/Raspberry Pi (Non-HiLink) Full Linux compatbility (Renewed) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07KB2MKCW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_crFWCbRG6M0NY

Thanks for the link.

I’ve tried it but I’m getting the following error in the logs:

ppp: [wan_link0] MODEM: chat script failed
ppp: [wan_link0] CHAT: The modem is not responding to "AT" at ModemCmd: label.

Has anyone ha any luck getting a Huawei E3372 stick working on Opnsense?

I am looking for a simple 4G modem to get working, but this doesn't seem to want to talk to Opnsense.
