19.7 Legacy Series / Connect from local network by ddns to home server
« on: February 02, 2020, 03:12:15 pm »
Good.
How to connect to the home server from the home network using domain name like s1.example.com?

Prior to the opnsense router, I had an Asus ac56u router on which I used ddns and could connect to the home server from the local network through the s1.example.com domain.
I want to configure opnsense so that it works similarly to asus ac56u so that I can connect to the home server on the local network from the local network under a domain like s1.example.com.
Help me please. Thanks.

19.1 Legacy Series / Double layer Openvpn and WAN reconnecting
« on: February 27, 2019, 04:49:33 pm »
Hello guys.
I use Double layer Openvpn on Opnsense, but when WAN changing IP (i mean reconnecting) OpenVPN_2 not start inside OpenVPN_1. OpenVPN_1 up ok. I need manually start OpenVPN_2 almost every time.
I think bug because OpenVPN_2 do not wait until  OpenVPN_1 up and stop at all. Please fix this bug. Thanks

This bug was on 19.1 and 18.7+ versions.
Double layer Openvpn -> OpenVPN_2 inside OpenVPN_1

Hello guys.
I use Double layer Openvpn on Opnsense, but after upgrading the system to 19.1 at startup does not use OpenVPN_1 tunnel. That means it use only OpenVPN_2 not OpenVPN_2 inside OpenVPN_1. If stop and start OpenVPN_2 it is work ok, OpenVPN_2 inside OpenVPN_1. Please fix this bug. Thanks
