Transacting multiple Firefox upgrades since OP, I have not observed the problem lately

Does the issue happen if IPv6 Configuration Type is set to "None"?
Please, also note https://github.com/opnsense/core/issues/8064#issuecomment-2482676644 .

As one former guy confirmed - even in actual Business Edition [BE 24.10_7-amd64] when using bare metal installation.
Processor: Intel Haswell I3-4360T
Memory: 32 GiB
Network:
. Intel I218-V
. Intel I350-T2 v2
. Intel I350-T4 v2

Strange:
During this time, access to other websites works as expected - not being blocked

Confirmation: Similar under [ BE 24.10_7-amd64 ] .

Example:

-> Interface -> select LAN interface -> enable IPv6 :
. . . "IPv6 Configuration Type" = "Track Interface"
. . . "Assign prefix ID" = 0x11

-> Save -> Apply

-> WEB GUI unresponsible for 3'..4'
-> WEB GUI becomes responsible by itself afterwards; no need to reboot et al.

24.7 Production Series / Dynamic IPv6 : Automatic fail-over to a Fallback Gateway fails

Please, c.f. detailed description in #8064 :
"[ BE 23.10 ... BE 24.10_7-amd64 ] Automatic fail-over to a Fallback Gateway still fails"
[ https://github.com/opnsense/core/issues/8064 ]

OPNsense 24.10 business edition is based on the OPNsense 24.7.6 community version.

Has anybody out there a similar ISP connection and tried automatic fail-over?

Thanks in advance

24.7 Production Series / Re: Weird flickering with Traffic Graph on dashboard - Firefox/Linux - 24.7_5

Persists on Business Edition OPNsense 24.10_7-amd64.

Discrepancies might be related to:
- Firefox: based upon Quantum
- Vivaldi,
- Falkon: based upon Chromium

Perhaps this might yield a HINT:

The traffic graph works fine in www-client/vivaldi-6.8.3381.57:0 .

Reverse, Vivaldi is not able to show the entries in

. . . Services: Intrusion Detection: Log File

which works flawlessly in  www-client/firefox-130.0:rapid .

Hardware and Performance / OPNsense 23.10.2-amd64 [BE] : iwm blocks iwlwifi1

# opnsense-patch a02b07a908
Franco, looking into
. . . https://github.com/opnsense/core/commit/a02b07a908
I got the impression that the patch cited above should have arrived in 23.7.12
which you named as base for BE 23.10.2.

Nevertheless, iwm takes precedence; only with
. . . devmatch_blocklist="if_iwm" in /etc/rc.conf.local
I can select a parent interface "iwlwifi0" instead of "iwm0"
in Interfaces:Wireless:Devices.

Can you be so kind to clarify?
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards
Manfred

Services: Intrusion Detection: Administration --> Download

. . . TOP: "Enable selected"

. . . BOTTOM: "Save"  &&  "Download & Update Rules"

I had to get used to clicking all of them in the correct sequence ...

22.1 Legacy Series / HW Monitoring exploiting Nuvoton NCT 6791D
« on: April 02, 2022, 04:50:59 pm »
Completely switching away from all hitherto existing IPFire installations, I'm absolutely convinced how quick well organized structures and excellent documentation eased all transformations.
Nevertheless, I'm a "newbie" in OPNsense and not as familiar with FreeBSD as with Linux and GNU userland, so I ask for indulgence.

The "Thermal Sensors" widget splendidly displays information about the CPU:
   --> Lobby: Dashboard;
   --> System: Settings: Miscellaneous

Linux Kernel support:
$ grep -i "NCT6791D" /usr/src/linux/drivers/hwmon/nct*.c   --->    .../nct6775.c

lm-sensors monitors not only temperatures,
but - more important - also voltages and fan speeds,
enabling quite complete remote control & alert.
Further on, sensor readings of additional plug-in cards are made available.

Searching for an analogon for FreeBSD -> OPNsense,
I was prepared that my mileage might vary.

OPNsense 22.1.4_1 repository provides sysutils/smartmontools-7.3 (-> disks),
but not bsdhwmon which is documented as part of FreeBSD 13.0-RELEASE.

𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚖𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚗's "sensors.sh" script  --->   UPDATE 1
[ https://vermaden.wordpress.com/2022/02/15/sensors-information-on-freebsd/ ]
is similarly limited to cpu+acpi+disk.

I would be grateful  for any helpful hint.
Thanks a lot in advance,
and best regards.
