General Discussion / Re: Question about inbound NAT and "Reply-to on WAN rule"

Yes but I don't have multi-WAN, so it's not supposed to work anyway with or without reply-to rules ?

General Discussion / Question about inbound NAT and "Reply-to on WAN rule"
« on: June 05, 2018, 04:33:23 pm »
Hello folks,

I'm trying to migrate my firewall (linux iptables) to an opnsense virtual machine. I converted all rules to OPNsense, but first time I tried an inbound nat rule on a external cidr range 193.x.x.x/27 routed to opnsense wan, it didn't work.

I was going to became crazy when I check the box "Disable reply-to on wan rule" and it was suddenly working.

I'm not sure I understand why I have to check this to make it work.

Can you explain this to me ?

Thanks

15.7 Legacy Series / Re: DNS server list (192.168.1.1 comes from nowhere?)

Try to download the xml backup file and check it to see if there's a 192.168.1.1 somewhere. If so, maybe try to remove the entry from the file and restore it.

Thank you, spread the word ;)

I'm happy to say that I just got rid off my crappy and expensive Cisco ASA Firewall ;D

Are you looking at the rules?

It is in the top left corner of the dialog (advanced mode) on the right side there is something similair for the help (full help).

Nope nothing...

Strangely I have no toggle button...

I tried with firefox chrome and IE (yes) but no difference.

I see what kind of toggle button you are refering to, cause I see them on other tabs. But they are not appearing in any of my rules tabs.

15.7 Legacy Series / [SOLVED] Limiters (pipes) not implemented yet ?
« on: July 09, 2015, 04:08:09 pm »
Hi,

I was using a lot of limiters in Pfsense. It seems limiters are now called pipes in the traffic shaper interface of OPNSense

However there's no IN/OUT fields anymore in rules advanced tab...

How am i suppose to get them working ? Is it still a WIP ?

Hi,

Just tried the procedure to enable API on google drive for the backup. I think I've done eveything right but I always got "Google Drive communication failure"...

I'm using the last version of OpnSense.
