Läuft bei mir seit knapp 6 Jahren ohne Probleme, anfangs mit ADSL und jetzt mit VDSL. Erst mit dem Vigor 130, letzte Firmware Version war Vigor130_v3.8.5_modem_7. Jetzt mit Vigor 167, aktuell mit Vigor167_v5.2.1_STD. Als Anleitungen seinerzeit hatte ich folgende Dokumente von DrayTek verwendet:

- Wie kann ich auf den Vigor130 im Bridge-Modus zugreifen?

Wenn ich es noch richtig im Kopf habe, hatte ich Unterschiede beim setzen des vlan7 zwischen Fritzbox und OPNsense. Ist aber alles zu lange her, spontan bekomme ich das nicht mehr zusammen

. Falls ich screenshots der Kofiguration bereitstellen soll, sagt mir, was Ihr benötigt

Good morning,

after updating to day to 22.7.10_2-amd64 (FreeBSD 13.1-RELEASE-p5/OpenSSL 1.1.1s 1 Nov 2022) I receive about every 5 seconds or so a lot of warnings like this:

I'm not sure if this was already an issue before the 22.7.10_2 hotfix. If I remove the gateways widget from the dashboard, the warings stop. Any idea how to supress these messages?

Eins vorweg, ich kenne mich in den Themen nicht sooo gut aus ;-)

Ich sehe da 2 Probleme:
1) wenn die Fritzbox als Modem konfiguriert ist, vermute ich, dass darauf Backup-Wlan nicht funktionieren wird. Wenn die Fritzbox kein Router ist, wie soll die eine Verbindung über Wlan ins Internet routen?
2) ähnliches Thema beim Raspi-Backup-Server. Baut der eine zweite PPPOE-Verbindung auf? Falls nicht, wird der vermutlich auch nicht ins Internet kommen.

I had this running for 2 years until we moved 2 days ago:

Draytek 130<-->Opnsense various releases<-->(LAN) Gigaset GO Box 100; Provider is Easybell

Worked out of the box, I did not set up special firewall rules or port forward.

Upgraded two APU2C4, without issues. It took about 12 minutes each time.

On client, .ovpn file, add or increase line

Can't help you on this topic, sorry.

My OVPn site 2 site connection (APU2C4 running on cable to APU2C4 running on DSL) had according to the log the last hickups back then:
Feb 6 10:40:04 kernel: ovpns1: link state changed to UP
Feb 6 10:39:58 kernel: ovpns1: link state changed to DOWN

Edit:
found in the OpenVPN log file the following entries, happening once a day:
openvpn[89331]: Authenticate/Decrypt packet error: missing authentication info
but this has no impact that I can notice on the connection

First of all: thank you for your great work and this excellent product!

Just upgraded to 19.1 on one of my two APU2C4. Upgrade took about 15 minutes and no issues so far. Configuration set up with 2 wan connections (although currently only one is in use), OpenDNS, OpenVPN site 2 site, vlans.

[Edit: unattended upgrade on 2nd APU in remote location also completed without issues]

When switching from 17 to 18.1 I had to reinstall from scratch due to disk problems. If I remember correctly this involved the following steps, that were quite straight forward:

Download the image, use rufus to burn the image to an usb stick (iso mode)
Boot from usb stick
Use the installer user to run the opnsense install to the disk
When rebooting make sure to boot from disk and not from usb stick
