With IPS/IDS my internet speed drops to 60mbs from 300mbs.
 I want to try your suggestions. Appreciate if you could let me know how to check ports used by IPS
"Set to 0 (<x>) for every port used by IPS
dev.igb.<x>.fc: value=0"

I followed "Fast and easy way to protect your home and/or small office network with OPNsense"  for my Initial setup

I am using 2017 New firewall computer with J1900 Quad core  Support SATA HDD Q190G4U-S02 (Celeron) barebone pc about $150 including shipping(received within 1 week). support is good.  Added 8gb ram and 120gb msata. all together 250$. I am very happy with the performance.  I would suggest you get

Hi All
after going back and forth with log files and forum posts. am able to figure out the issue, Now I am able to plugin list and updates

1. Set the system to prefer IPv4 over IPv6 under System: Settings: General.

I installed 18.1 and upgraded to 18.1.5. Now I am not seeing any plugins listed. please see attached screenshots

Never mind. Restarting in sequence resolved the issue. shutdown all. restart modem, opnsense and wifi router.

I have  ATT router acting as just modem --> wan on opnsense --> lan of opnsense to Asus wifi router. when I put my att modem and opnsense in bridge mode, I can't connect to the internet. any help?

Hi All
I am trying to configure nordvpn in openvpn->clients. After filling up necessary fields, webgui crashes on saving. Please let me know where to look for log files and any solution
I have IDS/IPS, ad guard dns setup.
Appreciate all the help
