15.7 Legacy Series / Re: two ADSL lines , load balance and failover

Hi mfaridi,
Multi-WAN is the correct feature to look for. I have not had the opportunity to do Multi-WAN on OPNsense.

I'm suggesting to create the guest you mentioned right here. Can you please what what you have done thus far? (2 separate interfaces for you 2 WAN, etc.) Please be sure both WAN interfaces are up and functioning before trying to configure the gateway group(s). I will build a test box and compare.

Hi BS_,
You didn't mention what device is on both network 1 and network 3 (the router).
You will need to add a static route to the default gateway for network one (and allow redirection as necessary).

This will allow the traffic to return out the correct firewall interface (and not out the WAN interface).

This is what I understood from your description:
{ Internet } - [ OPNsense] - [ switch network 1] - [ router ] - [ switch network 3 ] - [ PC ]
                              |
                      [ VPN network 2 ]

https to OPNsense LAN interface does not work because OPNsense does not have a route back to network 3.

Did this solve your issue?
