General Discussion / load balance backend servers with failover
« on: January 03, 2016, 03:38:08 pm »
Is it possible to automatically load balance over some backend servers for high availability purposes?

I'm running a mesos cluster with 3 master servers and I'm tinkering with opnsense but I cannot find any way to do this. It seems that the loadbalacing thing checks all servers in a group for ok and stops working if any servers is down. I found the failover but that seems to be restricted to master/backup and cannot be extended to 3 servers.

What I'm looking for is what I normally use HAproxy for but it would be nice to skip this step since that requires two more nodes...

is it possible to something like this with opnsense?
