tenia esto dejado por desilucion al creer que no tenia recursos hardware y al leer tu post hoy se me abrio una ventana, manos a la obra lo tengo ya instalado, pero no entiendo mucho eso que dices de la memoria ram escritura.
seguiste este paso ?

donde dice que los cambios se hagan desde consola?
Then via console, check your /etc/fstab and make sure your primary partition has rw,noatime instead of just rw.
