Hi Yall,
I spent the last month building an opnsense firewall on a Dell R330 with dual sfp+ uplinks. I have the lagg configured on the dual sfp+ in failover mode for the firewall. When the firewall was on the test bench getting setup I was able to connect to it and route just fine but now that it is installed in the rack I cannot get it to route. I cannot even connect to it with a static IP. The VLAN's become available when the system becomes uplinked and that is happening, I can see the VLAN's in the console become active when the sfp+ is active. I was originally connecting to the firewall with a sfp to rj45 dac and I tried that again and it is not working. I am just wondering if there is a command of sorts that I need to run from the console to get the connection working again. I should also note that when I am in the console of the opnsense firewall I can ping the vlan gateways so maybe my sfp+ card is having issues.
