General Discussion / Port forward rule association

Hi all,
I have a question about the associated rules created when creating a port forward.
I want to force all dns requests on a couple of interfaces to be redirected to unbound, so I created a port forward rule in which I selected multiple interfaces and chose to create associated rules. This resulted in one floating rule, this would be fine, however, this seems to be active on all interfaces, there's no apparent way to check if it's only applied to the interfaces I selected. How does this work?
A different option I tried was to select 'Pass' for the rule association; this did not generate any rules as far as I could tell. How does this option work?
Can anyone clear this up for me, what would be the best way to go about this?
