I have a similar problem, but in my case it seems no routes are getting installed. I also cannot choose the IPsec interfaces in my gateway configs. Do the IPsec interfaces show up and do get routes installed for you?

Same problem here on OPNsense 21.1.1-amd64. Did you ever get a resolution
