Try:

System > Firmware > Status - bottom right -> select "Reset all local conflicts" in the drop down menu.

to delete the invalid wireguard entry.

Nach der Installation des neuesten Bios'es besteht das Problem nicht mehr.
Nun kann ich das APU2C4 auch ohne Konsolen-Kabel mit Opnsense erfolgreich booten.

Vielen Dank für den Hinweis. An das Bios als Fehlerquelle habe ich gar nicht gedacht.

Hallo Zusammen,

ich habe das Problem, dass Opnsense auf meiner APU2C4 nicht bootet, wenn das Nullmodemkabel an der seriellen Konsole und dem seriell-USB-Adapter am PC nicht angeschlossen ist. Ist dies normal? Ich dachte ich benötige das serielle Kabel nur zur Installation und Diagnosezwecken. Sobald das Kabel angeschlossen ist kann ich den Bootvorgang z. B. per putty mitverfolgen.

Mit einem anderen alten 4GB Philips USB-Stick konnte ich jetzt Opnsense endlich starten und auf die interne SSD installieren.

Das Bios hat nach mehreren versuchen jetzt auch geklappt.

Der erzeugte USB-Stick mit dd und dem  apu2-tinycore6.4.img Image startet zwar aber das Bios lässt sich trotzdem nicht flashen.

Erst nachdem ich den USB-Stick mit dem TinyCore USB installer v1.8 unter Windows erzeugt habe lies sich das Bios flashen.

Seltsam das Verhalten aber es hat letztendlich funktioniert.

Hallo Zusammen,

ich habe jetzt mein APU2C4 Board bekommen. Leider habe ich mit der Opnsense Installation Probleme.

Die Installation von einem USB2 Cruzer Fit USB Stick bleibt hängen.

Ich verwende folgendes Image: OPNsense-18.1-OpenSSL-serial-amd64.img

Ok, dachte ich erstmal das Bios auf die aktuelle Version aktualisieren vielleicht ist dann das Problem behoben.

Aber selbst das Bios Update klappt nicht.

Ich verwende wie bei PC-Engines beschrieben ein Legacy Bios.

Allerdings lässt sich das Bios nicht flashen. Die Checksumme/Hash stimmt mit der Angabe in der md5 Datei überein. Die Bios Datei ist somit ok nicht korrupt.

Vielen Dank für die Antwort.

Ist es sinnvoll noch eine WLAN Karte mit in die APU2 Firewall einzubauen? So wie ich gelesen habe kann die Compex WLE200NX Karte 2,4GHz und 5GHz nicht gleichzeitig. Oder einfach das WLAN der Fritzbox weiter nutzen?

Hallo zusammen,

zur Frage was nutzt Ihr? Zur Zeit eine Fritzbox 7490.

Ich möchte aber eine "gescheite Firewall" in mein Netz integrieren. Die Fritzbox ist ja bezüglich der Firewall Funktion nicht so toll und lässt sich ja auch nur eingeschränkt konfigurieren. Ich würde gerne auf zusätzlicher Hardware Opnsene einsetzen. Die Fritzbox vorerst aber weiter nutzen. (ADSL Modem/ Switch/VOIP)

Welche Hardware ist da empfehlenswert. Zur Zeit habe ich DSL mit 16Mbit , 2018 soll dann aber VDSL mit 100MBit verfügbar sein.

Würde ein apu3b4 Board mit 4GB RAM erst einmal ausreichen? Könnte ich diese Hardware auch noch mit 100MBit weiter nutzen?

Die Draytek VigorNIC 132 PCIe Karte sieht auch interessant aus. Leider passt diese nicht auf das apu3b4 Board.

Wenn man sich damit damit eine Firewall/Router zusammenbaut ist man bei einer PC / Barebone Größe.

Ein kleineres Stück Hardware so wie das apu3b4 Board wäre mir da schon lieber. Der Stromverbrauch wäre auch geringer.

Was gibt es für Alternativen?

Über ein paar Ratschläge würde ich mich sehr freuen.
