hi,

is it possible to add the attackers IP (suricatas droped/blocked attacks) to a IP blocklist and block it before entering IPS ?

most of the time the same attacks from same ip happens every day and i want to pre block it per ip.

i know pfsense can do this, but i cant figure out to set it up on opnsense

thanks

thx, but for me it make no sense running it on LAN.

Maybe i will switch back to older verison freebsd12.1 until the bug is fixed.

freebsd12.1 was running fine.

i think its the same problem as this one

https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=26672.0

on my wan interface i use mac address spoofing (so i can get the same dhcp ip as my old router)

no, in IDS the interface is on WAN only

i dont have ipv6 enabled

LAN     igb0
WAN     igb1

and in IDS is WAN checked.

hi,

iam using a DEC750 with OPNsense 22.4_2-amd64 (business edition).

as soon as i enable IDS with or without IPS mode, my WAN interface link state is flapping (up/down).

When IDS is disabled all is fine. all hardware offloading is disabled.

i did not had that problem with OPNsense business 21.10

already tried a fresh reinstall.

any ideas?
