I'm looking for an easy-to-maintain software firewall appliance, with the following features:
Currently I'm using a custom, Linux-based firewall. But the effort to maintain it... let's just say, it's starting to be less and less worth it.
Does OPNSense support all the features I'm looking for?
I'm looking for an easy-to-maintain software firewall appliance, with the following features:
- (Outgoing) Weighted Load Balancing between multiple ISPs
- Scheduled "lock in" for traffic (e.g., every Tuesday, traffic from Management goes through ISP 1, while other traffic goes through ISPs 2 & 3 (weighted load-balanced))
- NAT / Portmapping for Asterisk (VoIP Server)
- (Optionally) VPN (but of course can be solved by deploying a VPN server behind the firewall and mapping its IP to the public side)
