But we need to figure out what is blocking javascript with WireGuard on OPNsense... Running WireGuard on my MacBook Pro without hassle! All Javascript is working fine and as they should.

But not with WireGuard on OPNsense.

Seems that I have found the blocker for it,

Under Firewall -> NAT -> Outbound I have OPT1 as Interface and Source is LAN net. This is provided by my VPN provider, but when turning on WireGuard near everything is blocked in the firewall log by a default deny rule. 

If I switch from OPT1 to WireGuard that other guides is pointing out, like this one: https://www.ivpn.net/setup/router/opnsense/. Same results...

Legit connections was blocked with default deny rule.

Checked today, and found out others have this problem also when using OPNsense with WireGuard that .js files is being blocked with timeout.

From the console in Chrome when using WireGuard, all .js files ends up with net::ERR_TIMED_OUT.
If I turn WireGuard off, all is fine.

Hi!

Have Wireguard working but one huge problem, with Wireguard enable all javascripts is blocked which is a huge blocker. When I disable Wireguard everything is working as it should.

So the blocker is Wireguard, but I can't see what is causing this issue? Can't find anything on the net either.

So, I'm looking for a solution how to solve this...

We are today using Google Drive for storage of alot of files like most people do.
But, the speed for some files are horrible, and not because of our Internet speed, just Google it and you will see alot of topics about slow speed on Google Drive.

Now I'm looking to cache around 70-100 GB of files either on our FW or a server on our network to speed things up. But is this doable?

Is Squid up for the task or not?

Finally I've found out what's causing the wiped dashboard for me, and that's when the Confirm form resubmission appears and I press Contiune.

When pressing Contiune, the dashboard is wiped completly clean from all widgets and I have to start over! WT*

Why?  This happend also on the previous version 18.7.X and now on 19.1.X.

Sorry for late reply, but running OPNsense 18.7.10_4-amd64. And it happend again a couple of days ago!
Completly wiped dashboard, and forced to re-add all widgets again.

Updated our 18.7 to latest 18.7 before updating to 19.1! Stucked with boot loop on our firewall that is a HPE Microserver N54L...

Did a clean install of 18.7, updated it from the Update from console to latest 18.7 and then 19.1 with the same result! 

So the 19.1 is a no go on a Microserver N54L at this moment, dunno what's causing the boot loop of the server. :/

Hi all!

So, I'm trying to find a solution to solve this because turning off the VPN is nothing I would like to do.
The Nvidia Shield has static IP, and I followed this guide:

Navigate to Firewall -> Rules -> LAN.
Click Add
Leave everything default except changing the source to your device’s static IP and the Gateway to WAN_DHCP (or whatever it’s called).  (If you have more than one, create an Alias first in Firewall -> Aliases -> View, click Add.  Type host, add however many lines for however many streaming devices you have, click save, and use that Alias as the source.)
Click Save.
But the Nvidia Shield is still getting the VPN public IP, and not the WAN Gateway from our ISP. 

What am I missing?

Hi all!

I'm using Manual outbound NAT rule generation due to OpenVPN, and now I need to solve this small problem because I have an internal server I need to reach using it's domain name.

I can only find solutions for pfSense, and not OPNsense on Google! 

Can someone please point me in the right direction to solve this?

Evening!

Today when I logged in to my OPNsense box, the dashboard was complete wiped and no widget was available. Need to re-add them again, and don't know what caused this wipe at all!
