Virtual private networks / The connection establishes but immediately drops. Cannot explain

Have a weird issue which have been troubling me for months....

I have a PC on the LAN connecting to a VPN (checkpoint) via the Windows Checkpoint app. The connection establishes but immediately drops. Cannot explain why.

The system is is quite straight forward. Simple WAN and LAN with NAT. Cannot even see the dropped/deny connection attempts in the firewall view.

Any pointers would help

High availability / Virtual IPs for each LAN and each VM

Hey Guys,

we have a 2 firewall cluster with Virtual IPs for each LAN and each VM. each time we do a failover from 1 to 2 all VMs are not reachable until we go to Settings>Virtual IPs>Interfaces>Settings and click, save and apply every single entry, then it works again without problems.

We are running OPNsense 21.1.7_1 on both.
