Ill do a full capture when i get home.

I hadn't really looked into the amount of ram until you mentioned it in your post. It is actually only 64MB.

That may be the problem. I think monowall only required 64 and it was an older build.

Is there a way to configure it to run on 64MB?  I'm only using the FW features and was considering the IPSec vpn features.

This is on a soekris box with no vga connected via console. It previously ran monowall with no problem.

Also i've tried reimaging the CF card several times, and tried other images. 

Could this have something to do with etc/ttys?

If i cant get the menu from the console is there a way to start the web service so i can configure it through the web?

I can set an IP using ifconfig but can't currently connect to the web interface as it is not bound or not running.

I'd be ok with that approach as well assuming that all works ok.

Yes using 115200. When it boots up it prompts for username. I type root. then it logs in without the password and goes to the command line.

Also i am using 15.7 nano i386 image.

I am having trouble getting started. Trying to use a Soekris box like i used to with mono wall but the menu wont come up to configure opnsense. I managed to get ssh running and ssh to the soekris running 15.7 nano but still no menu. Any ideas?
