Title: Can't boot to install
Post by: guest19076 on September 28, 2018, 04:00:45 am
Trying to install, I created the USB boot stick with Rufus and the .img file. Upon boot it just hangs after showing the display resolution (see pic). Any ideas?

It is an UEFI only motherboard (no legacy boot options) without a secure boot option (most likely due to lack of a TPM chip)

Went to try again today because I had found some steps that might help, and on first boot it hung after detecting USB devices then booted right up into the setup the 2nd time.

Didn't change anything, it just worked this time.  ???
