CENTENNIAL, Colo., Sept. 10, 2018 Three of North America's Technology companies have partnered to produce the world's first laser counter mapping solution, one which improves how information can be safely and accurately captured by discipline crews in hard-to-reach assets and in surroundings that were GNSS-impaired.

Laser Technology Inc. (LTI), in partnership with Eos Positioning Systems and Esri, collaborated on the development and creation of the first laser offset solution in the Collector. When using an LTI laser rangefinder and an Eos Arrow Series(TM) GPS/GNSS receiver with Esri Collector for ArcGIS, a field worker can easily take, capture, and discuss high-accuracy 3D location information which is streamed into ArcGIS Online in real time.

Field crews previously challenged with capturing true 3D Places for resources would rely on a station with a program workflow, which demanded a meshing-together of the information back at the workplace. Today, the integration of these three technologies creates a solution that permits field mapping crews to capture centimeter-accurate 3D locations of remote assets and in GNSS-impaired surroundings.

The result is a laser Means field crews never have to leave the Collector/AGOL surroundings do not have to put themselves negotiating trenches dangerous roadways, forests and urban canopies and never sacrifice precision, making precision mapping in a safer, more efficient workspace.

"By combining the high-accuracy of this Eos Arrow Series(TM) GNSS receivers as well as the laser capabilities of LTI, we can enable field crews to capture exceptionally precise XYZ coordinates from a safe space," said LTI Senior Product Manager Derrick Reish. "This removes the need for physically occupying every stage. It also provides more accurate location data, with cheaper mobile asset-management workflows."

The cooperation comes amid rising demand for flexible, Solutions which may perform in the most untenable locations. The first-of-its-kind technology integration, which provides users the freedom to integrate their laser choice and also provides various offset-mapping methods, delivers the mapping community an tool it may trust.

"Eos is extremely grateful to be a part of the initial Launch in high-accuracy asset location information with LTI's laser rangefinders and Esri's Collector mobile program," explained Eos CTO Jean-Yves Lauture. "Enabling this type of accuracy means the most budget-conscious field crews will have the ability to access the location of the hard-to-reach assets."

"Esri is very pleased that Collector can now encourage The capture of high-accuracy asset locations from afar, minding our unique partnership with both Eos and LTI," explained Esri Product Manager Jeff Shaner. "This really is really a game-changer for asset management". https://plus.google.com/u/0/117678382509913662199 (https://plus.google.com/u/0/117678382509913662199)

For LTI, this solution highlights yet Decades-long assignment improve workplace safety and to innovate its laser technology to mapping professionals and enable field data collection.

"With Eos the world's Top manufacturer of high-accuracy GNSS receivers, Esri the international market leader in GIS applications, also LTI the leading producer of professional-grade laser rangefinders, it was a matter of time before this tech trifecta delivered something genuinely disruptive," said Eric Miller, president of LTI. "We are extremely proud of this partnership and this modern solution for the safest, most accurate asset-management workflows."
