Title: IPV6: whats that in squid? dead:beef...
Post by: ruggerio on April 01, 2018, 01:17:09 pm
Can anybody tell me how to get rid off this message here in squid:

Error sending to ICMPv6 packet to [2610:28:3090:3001:dead:beef:cafe:fed3]. ERR: (65) No route to host

nslookup isn't telling me anything about this :)

Thx,
Roger

That address is assigned to the University of North Carolina and resolves to fedoraproject.org:

Code: [Select]
dig fedoraproject.org ANY | grep "dead:beef"
fedoraproject.org. 55 IN AAAA 2610:28:3090:3001:dead:beef:cafe:fed3
fedoraproject.org. 55 IN AAAA 2605:bc80:3010:600:dead:beef:cafe:fed9
fedoraproject.org. 55 IN AAAA 2604:1580:fe00:0:dead:beef:cafe:fed1

That is most likely an issue with your v6 gateway.
