Title: during booting system hangs

Hi All,

I try to install the latest version on a HPE Microserver Gen10 but during first boot from usb it hangs at the following

pcib0: _OSC returned error 0x10

Who can help me?

Have a look at the FreeBSD hardware compatibility list to confirm all components are supported: https://www.freebsd.org/releases/11.1R/hardware.html

You may need to disable/remove those that are not.

Hi Bart,

It seems to be that the vga is the issue but how can i disable it?

If the VGA is on-board, you can add a graphics card in a PCI-X or PCI slot. This will either disable the built-in graphics automatically, or allow you to select the discrete card in the BIOS.

Ok thanks but hoped someone knew how to change a config file so that it does pass this card.
