Hello, greetings to the opnsense team.
I need to make a mini server for production environment with the services of firewall, proxy, hotspot, Samba DC AD DLZ mode, file sharing, MySQL Database, HTTP Apache, VSFTPD. all from the same team.
Questions:
Is this system compatible and can a TP-LINK WDN4800 hardware be installed to be used as a hotspot?
Can this project be installed in a package from a distro operating system like ubuntu server, FreeBSD or Debian?
Can you manually install other services that are not in the project?

The Card uses an Atheros 9380 Chipset. Atheros AR9380 ist supported by FreeBSD, so it should work (AP mode, 801.11n). The Atheros card can work into 2,4 or 5Ghz band.
But keep in mind, that the best solution for wireless and OPNsense is to use an external AP!

That isn't a good solution! a Firewall should be an Firewall an not more! Every additional service that running on the firewall is a possible security risk.
If you need to run anything onto the same hw it's better to run min. 2 vm on the hw! One vm with opnsense as fw and one vm (maybe ubuntu) for the other services.

thank you very much for the information, the problem is I have a wireless adapter which provides ubnut server and works well, but if the opnsense software is not compatible I can not use it and the computer only has 4 cores and 8 GB of RAM, I can not Virtualize 2 VMs.
