Title: External sites seeing 127.0.0.1
Post by: PCServices on January 25, 2018, 03:33:07 am
Hi All,

Hope this is an easy one to fix.

When I go to various websites they tell me that my IP address is 127.0.0.1 rather than the public address.

I would like to have all external sites only see the public IP.

I am using transparent proxy on 80 and 443 with the ClamAV enabled.

Any suggestions???

I'm having real problems with some websites refusing connections because they are seeing my LAN address not the public address of my gateway router...

The OPNsense is behind the router with a DMZ setup on the router to pass traffic through to the OPNsense which is then acting as firewall, IPS, DHCP, NTP, etc server.

General Proxy Settings - Advanced Mode.
What do you have in all X-Forward stuff and Visible Hostname?

X-Forward is set to Default
Visible Hostname is blank
