Title: USB to Ethernet interface removed on reboot
Post by: punsikorn49 on December 20, 2017, 10:49:14 am
Hey Guys,

having a problem with opnsense, Im running 17.1.8 on an Intel NUC, my WAN connection is a USB to Ethernet dongle and after configuring the interface everything works fine.

BUT, once i reboot the PC the WAN interface just disappears, I have to manually add it again in the interfaces menu. บอลสเต็ป2 (https://www.ufa88.com/แทงบอลสเต็ป/)

Weird huh? anyone else come across this issue?

Most likely this is a timing issue. Add the os-boot-delay from System, Firmware, Plugins and test again?

There is a topic here about a specific USB ethernet dongle.
I have that model at home, and have those issues as well.
Seems to be crappie FreeBSD support AFAIK.

USB is tricky... it's there... sometimes it's not... in your interface config you can set the interface to locked mode so it won't disappear during auto-recover.
