Title: [SOLVED] Howto perform a backup via the console
Post by: mpompeia on December 19, 2017, 08:59:26 pm
Hi there,

I am currently without web admin access and since the issue is related to an upgrade that didn't go well (and now openssl is messed-up) I was wondering how I could trigger a backup of the config through the console.

Many thanks in advance for the advice!!

Best,
Manu

Hi Manu,

Option 13 from the console menu, namely "Restore a backup".

Hi Franco,

What I need is to perform a backup, not a restore.

Cheers,
Manu

I'm not sure I understand, your backup history is under /conf/backup automatically. The current configuration can be backed up manually...

# cp /conf/config.xml /conf/my-backup.xml
