Title: Create a certificate from CSR?
Post by: skywalker007 on December 12, 2017, 09:21:03 am
Hi,

can I use OPNsense internal CA to generate certificates from existing CSR?
In the web UI I only see the options to create/import certificate or to generate CSR.

thanks!

Do you mean the OpenVPN CA?

You can issue a certificate from that by creating a user in System, Access, Users and creating an internal certificate from the OpenVPN CA. You can then export the p12 from the new certificate in System, Trust, Certificates.

This is an alternative if the server that generated the CSR can import PKCS#12 certificates.

You could potentially sign a CSR from the command line but I don't know where OPNsense keeps the CA files.

Hi there,

The feature does not exist yet.
