Title: view log file if "Disable writing log files to the local disk" is activated
Post by: bobbis on November 25, 2017, 01:00:47 pm
How can i view the a log file if "Disable writing log files to the local disk" is activated?

Almost what i see is: File /var/log/filter.log yielded no results. ...in the webinterface.

If you use this option and export the logs remotely you can view them wherever you export them to, if not you can’t view the log because you disabled it.  ;)

Hi Franco,

thanks for your reply, i tough logging where also possible to "ramdisk" if you have it activated "use memory file system for /tmp or /var" in the webinterface.

An idea to add this feature :)

Hi bobbis,

If you keep logging on, and enable /var RAM-disk that makes logs readable from RAM-disk until reboot. I think that should work for you. :)
