Title: USB transmission failed

Hi,

during the second boot (after the resize partition) on my Alix APU, i get these messages :

USB transmission failed
USB transmission failed
USB transmission failed

with some ehci messages in between...

A slow USB-stick continues to boot after 3 of those messages, other sticks endlessly hang during boot.


Is there a fix that i can use (sysctl-adjustment)?

Hi Martijn,

Install the "os-boot-delay" plugin prior to first reboot.

Hi Franco,

I had the same prob on 2 APU 1C4 on latest OPNsense-17.7.5-OpenSSL-nano-amd64.img.bz2 with this issue:

WARNING - Timeout at ehci_wait_td:517!

USB transmission failed

I did install "os-boot-delay" pkg and had the following in loader.conf.local:

kern.cam.boot.delay=10000
