Title: Captive Portal Pre-authorization Redirect
Post by: myteejoeyoung on October 05, 2017, 07:11:46 am
I would like to accomplish one of two objectives:
1. Set up the captive portal to redirect users before authorization to an internal splash page, which servers as a local network Education Technology Hub for our small college.  After being redirected to that page, users would click on a link which would direct them to the captive portal authorization page.
2. Set up the captive portal to redirect users before authorization to an internal splash page.  Embed the captive portal login page into the splash page, essentially loading the local network Education Technology Hub with the login embedded in a frame on the page.

BEFORE ANSWERING, PLEASE READ:
1. The page I am talking about is actually the home page of a local Wordpress installation that serves as our Education Technology Hub.  This hub has tutorials, links to other local network resources (library catalogue and file storage system), College announcements, and eventually access to a local Moodle (learning management system) install.
2. I DO NOT WANT to write a single, fancy splash page in HTML, but want to use the existing Wordpress install.
3. The goal is for users to be able to access all these local network resources first, without having to log into the internet.
4. NO, I do not have windows server.  All computers have home edition of windows, so roaming profiles is not possible.  Most of our users are wifi, so setting the Hub mentioned above as the home page in local browsers bookmarks is not an option.
