Title: Firewall Schedule
Post by: henryp on September 11, 2017, 08:56:48 pm
Hi Everyone,
Is it possible to add a recurring schedule into the firewall?
I can only see howto set a schedule for a specific date.
I would like to create a schedule that will allow me to block the internet late at night until early in the morning on weekdays.

Thanks !

You can take a look at the cron jobs.

System::Settings::Cron

Perhaps this helps

I think this would be handy to have without the date, but to some recurring also means selecting the day of the week or the day of the month, or weekdays...

Hmm, days of the week already works as a recurring schedule. I don't think we need to do anything. Click on the Day link on the calendar. :)

Cheers,

I agree,
it is a bit of a pain setting the date when all i need it to do is work on all weekdays.
It can also get tricky when setting up a time that goes over multiple days say 20:00 to 6:00 the next day.
