We are using X86 appliance with SSD. Few days back, we are facing system corrupted and restore back to freeBSD after few times power failure. :-[.

This happens with UFS. You can use the installer with "import configuration", then reinstall. It keeps your settings (config.xml and backups).

Good day franco,
We are using the box for production purposes. Is there any prevention or improvement about this?

Thanks.

No, this has been crap for years (my system too crashed after it lost power). I'm on a now ancient LEDE build but I've had zero issues in that camp, and igb works.

Unfortunately, this issue was pretty major to me, and this thread is much more recent then the last time OPNSense betrayed its owner.

Why is this not a severity 1 issue?

We'll add ZFS eventually, but it's no excuse. Everything else is https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/
