Title: Redirect from LAN address to LAN address
Post by: ghost82 on August 23, 2017, 10:44:07 pm
Hello all,
I tried searching the forum and documentation first but I haven't found anything usefull, sorry if this topic has been already discussed.

I downloaded the latest version of opnsense (17.7), which is very powerful, a very good software.
I'm testing it, my test net configuration is as follow:

Windows 7: hosting system connected to the wan, it has vmware installed. It's connected via wifi to the main router (connected to the internet), it has ips 192.168.1.2 (router ip: 192.168.1.1), 192.168.50.1 (NAT for vmware), 192.168.150.2 (host-only for vmware)

Kali Linux: guest system in the vmware. It has ip 192.168.150.101 (host-only for vmware)

Kali Linux-2: guest system in the vmware. It has ip 192.168.150.102 (host-only for vmware)

OPNSense: guest system in the vmware. It is configured for LAN (em1): 192.168.150.1/24 , WAN (em0): 192.168.50.131/24

With the standard installation, from the Kali machine, everything is working as expected, the traffic goes through the OPNSense guest, then to the WAN.

I want to redirect ALL the http traffic (not https, https can pass to the wan) from the kali linux machine to the kali Linux-2 machine which as a http server on port 80.

I tried to play with NAT and firewall rules but I was unable to get it working, all the traffic is passing through the opnsense and then to the wan.

Can anybody point me in the right direction please and if it is possible to do this?

Thank you very much

Daniele
