Title: Multi WAN 17.7 Free box release
Post by: Julien on August 01, 2017, 01:20:36 am
Hi Guys,
Today have updated to the latest release 17.7 free box and I was curious about the multi wan if the problem has been fixed on this version.
we have the firewall behind a 802.1Q VLAN tag on Datacenter.
I was wondering if the site to site VPN would works with this configuration what the datacenter provide.

also I want to know if this possible to build the site to site tunnel with ssl even we already have a ssl openvpn server for the users
I've looked to this doc and I need some help if this possible
https://docs.opnsense.org/manual/how-tos/sslvpn_s2s.html?highlight=site%20site

Thank you

Hi Julien,

It's "Free Fox". Forgive me for asking for more context: which Multi-WAN issue are you referring to and (a) was it always not working or (b) started to stop working at a particular version?

Cheers,
Franco

Hi Franco,
A- I have a working one and I didn't update it yet so thought to ask before updating the firewall.

B- in our office we have a new Gbps network with 802.1Q VLAN tag on the WAN side with two WAN IP, the currently hardware is with the latest 17.7 Free Fox version and want some heads-up  before starting the configuration.

Thank you for your answer

Update version 17.7 and I have problem with multiwan detect the following.
In the gateways, when IP Monitor is left in offline status the second interface, if Disable Gateway Monitoring is enabled in enline.
Any ideas?
