Hello guys,
I would like to test opnsense and tried an installation on our xenserver 6.5 server. The problem is that both via "CIFS ISO Library" and a "local iso storage" installation failed to mount.

Something to do?

I'm not seeing a relevant error here. What happens next?

It seems to follow the live cd option. The options for installation do not appear, as it says in the opnsense wiki.
"Default behavior is to start with Installation (I). If you want to use start it as a LiveCD choose (C)"
https://docs.opnsense.org/manual/install.html
Have any way I invoke the installation via shell?
-
i think you can start the installer from the shell with:
/usr/local/etc/rc.installer

The install process was changed, especially for 17.1 due to conflicting requirements, problems, fixes... The process is describe here: https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=4943.0
The wiki page hasn't been updated yet, but it will.
If you see a login prompt after letting the system boot up, type "installer", hit enter, then type "opnsense", hit enter and you should see the installer.
Cheers,
Franco

It gave me a sadness now.
I had even thought about accessing the user "installer", but I did not access it. I went directly to the wiki to see the guidelines and did not look at the forum.
Thank you franco and others that help in the topic.

Hi there,
Sure thing. I spoke to Jos who tends the wiki and he will update it in the coming week. :)
Thanks,
Franco
