Title: web filtering doesn't work : OPNsense 16.7.6-armv6
Post by: valarien on March 17, 2017, 09:52:53 pm
Hello,

I'm trying to configure web filtering, but categories never appears
i don't know if my problem comes from downloading or something else.
I've tried a "ping ftp.ut-capitole.fr", it works.

I'm on the latest armv6 version, i tried to reset factory, i tried to reinstall from scratch.... nothing works

Someone can help me ?

Sorry for my English

Thanks

There were some performance fixes after 16.7.6 came out, specifically in 17.1, but since the RPI 1B build was a test there are no updates...

Still, the issue showed processing blacklists is CPU intense, which said ARM model is not. I really can't recommend using it with the web proxy or intrusion prevention services.

There will be a new image based on the RPI2 in the next weeks if all goes well. :)

Cheers,
Franco

ok i'll wait for the next version

Meanwhile, do you know where the blacklist should be extracted ?
I can see in my "/usr/local/etc/squid/squid.conf" it's the good Remote Blacklist name...

In the access.log file i can see all the traffic

thanks a lot
