Title: [SOLVED] connection problems from guestlan to firewall

Hello,

i have problems adding a vlan network (guestlan) and granting access to the firewalls dns resolver.

Internet access does work (e.g. ping 8.8.8.8) but adding a rule for dns to the firewall does not work. Even if i allow any to any:

pass  in  quick  on $GUESTLAN inet from any to any keep state  label "USER_RULE: Router Access"

i cannot access the firewall or use its dns service. The dns service is configured to listen to the new guestlan interface and i have restarted the firewall.

Any ideas how to solve the issue?

I am using OPNsense 17.1.2-amd64.

I just double-checked everything but cannot find the issue :(

Adding blocking rules helped..
