Title: PS4 behind OPNsense
Post by: Julien on February 09, 2017, 11:19:29 am
Hi Guys,
One of our customer has Xbox and PS4 on their Kantine Office.
After update to the version 17.1 the NAT type become 3 and the PS4 could never connect to the online services.
I can't seem to find the UPNP setting on the Opnsense, has those been moved ?
Services, UPNP, Settings, Interfaces I can't find the UPNP under the services.

my outbound nat rules are Automatic outbound NAT rule generation
(no manual rules can be used)
using hybride would fix it ?

thank you

uPnP has to be re-added as it became a separate plug-in - the old settings are still there and will get picked up again, at least it did for me as I have it enabled for a single PC I dedicate for gaming.

Reinstall the "os-upnp" plugin from the respective firmware tab.

Hi Julien,

On 17.1, you will find the "os-upnp" plugin under System: Firmware: Plugins along with the current install status.

Under System: Firmware: Packages and with the plugin installed you will have both "os-upnp" and "miniupnpd" packages listed.

Cheers,
Franco
