Title: [SOLVED] kernel panic after updating to 17.1 caused by 6rd ipv6
Post by: cobradevil on February 04, 2017, 04:17:18 pm
Hello all,

i have a kernel panic at boot when it loads the 6rd interface.
pfsense has the same issue which is caused by an upstream bug within FreeBSD.

https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/7124

Could this fix be included so 6rd works again?

With kind regards,
William

Hi William,

Thanks for the report. I'll try to pick this up for 17.1.1.

Cheers,

Fix was in FreeBSD already so I merged it. How the times have changed. Very cool.

Will be in 17.1.1.

Hi William,

Sure, run this from the console:

# opnsense-update -kr 17.1-route
# /usr/local/etc/rc.reboot

Cheers,
