Title: Where to officially submit bugs and suggestions/requests?

Hi everyone, just switched over from pfsense and liking it so far!  I have run across a few issues, mostly minor.  Where can you submit detailed bug information and/or suggestions or requests?

The preferred way to submit a bug is the issue tracker: https://github.com/opnsense/core/issues
Depending on the suggestion or request it can be the issue tracker (technical stuff), here in the forum (requests for help, general purpose discussions etc.) or IRC (is usually preferred for technical discussions etc.)

Just think who is using the channels. For example, in the forum you will get the largest audience because it is used by anyone (developers, users, ...). In contrast to that IRC is used developers, testers and power users but your message is not persisted or you will leave the channel before you get an answer.

Welcome.  :)

Fabian explained it very well. Let me just say that we look forward to feature requests spearheaded by users and recorded on GitHub, it gives us the opportunity to chat about the feature, prioritise and also test together before general deployment.

For larger topics it may be worth checking out our road map goals as of now and the past in order to get a sense of direction we are taking with the development resources we have. Smaller topics and bugs, however, can be fixed way faster if indeed problematic as some people here can likely vouch for. At least I do hope so. ;)

Thanks to you both.  I'm loving OPNSense so far!  Been on pfsense for about a year, and just a week now with OPNSense, but I think I'm here to stay :)

I am running across a number of GUI bugs, and have tested them across 3 browsers so I'll submit those right away.

Just quickly from here: both issues are know/low priority, will follow up on these up in January when we're finishing up the 17.1 release.
