Title: Active directory
Post by: wolandb on November 07, 2016, 06:15:21 am
Hello everyone!

I am new in opnsense, and it looks pretty and powerfull tool. Successfuly installed, perfectly connected to AD!

But I have an issue - is there any possibility to user samless ad authentification? NTLM or something. It is annoying to authorize every time.

Hi wolandb,

Welcome!

We're working on a SSO plugin for the proxy. If that works out, maybe we can extend it to the whole system, but we're not there yet:

Wow, thank you! Is it applicable to 17.x only?

I mean, 17.x has an  alfa state, not sure it's good idea to use in production:)

We are planning to move the web proxy SSO to 16.7 once it has been fully tested, but I can't give an ETA beyond the fact that this particular 16.7.x release will be out before 17.1 in January 2017.

Cheers,
Franco

Alright, thank you!

I'll keep in touch and use oonsense without authentication for now. Meanwhile will test your plugin in test environment.

Thank you for good and brave activity:)
