Title: [GELÖST] open-vm-tools

Ich habe versucht die vm-tools zu installieren.
Dazu habe ich hier System->Firmware->Plugins das Plugin os-vmware installiert.
Trotzdem sagt mein ESXi Host weiterhin, die Toole wären nicht installiert.

Mache ich was falsch?

Ich sehe gerade, dies ist die Fehlermeldung beim installieren:

Shared object "libvmtools.so.0" not found, required by "vmware-checkvm"

Hmm, Neustart hilft auch nicht?

Leider nicht.
Es scheint ja ein Paket zu fehlen.

Bringt es etwas auf der Firmware Packages Seite das Paket "open-vm-tools-nox11" erneut zu installieren (button rechts)?

Leider nein, es kommt dann immer noch der Fehler:

Sieht schon besser aus, reinstall jetzt noch für: "glib", "libdnet" und "icu"

Hallo Christian,

Okay, prima. Haben wir so noch nicht gehabt: da ist irgendwas beim Installieren falsch gelaufen.

Die Befürchtung dass das Paket an sich kaputt war hat sich also glücklicherweise nicht bestätigt. :)
