By system->Firmwar->updates
Mirror Firmware all the server addresses are tried, or can not be updated
Flavour firmware I first choose default (default)
There is a question to consult about, (Flavour firmware drop is divided into LibreSSL, OpenSSL these two kinds of what is the difference, I should choose the kind?) Thank you!

Hi zhangwei,

The Aivian mirrors seems to be synced now, all the others are as well. Make sure you're not running into a local proxy issue.

That being said, we could really use another mirror in the South-East Asia Region and/or China to improve reliability and responsiveness over there. If anybody can offer this, please do let us know.  :)

LibreSSL and OpenSSL are two different flavours of the same cryptographic engine at the heart of every operating system. OpenSSL is the parent project, LibreSSL is an alternative run by the OpenBSD project. In terms of user-facing differences there is nothing that sticks out, because they are meant to be fully compatible with each other.

Cheers,
Franco

The mirror volume is 10GB in total at the moment, probably going to grow to 15 to 20 in the long term (next years).

I cannot, however, anticipate the monthly traffic of the region when the mirror is plugged into the firmware GUI.

If you are up for it, please let us know via mail to project AT opnsense DOT org

Cheers,
