Title: problem with bridge in OPNSENSE
Post by: Heiko910 on January 25, 2023, 09:26:03 pm
I have successfully established a bridge to create three LAN ports on my OPNsense router.
All devices that are directly connected via a ethernet connection are working fine but the two APs that I have in my house seem to loose internet connection constantly. All my mobile devices are in constant limbo switching between one Wifi SSID to another.

I followed this write-up to the T.

https://docs.opnsense.org/manual/how-tos/lan_bridge.html

Anyone of you have any idea why a ethernet connected desktop computer is having no issues but an Access Point losses internet connection.

I am currently running 22.7

Thanks

If you have two APs they should use the same SSID ...

I haven't tried this setup (intended to once, but never did) but was going to try this guide, which does things a little differently:

Maybe the GUI options are different now, but worth a try?  :-)
