Looking at the Log File it says
May 31 09:56:36 relayd[68412]: hce exiting, pid 68412
May 31 09:56:36 relayd[67754]: no actions, nothing to do
May 31 09:56:36 relayd[67754]: /var/etc/relayd.conf:9: syntax error
I have attached my config.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi Javier,
It's a little hard for me to reproduce as the load balancer setup is complex. Can you export the Load Balancer Section from your config using the backup feature? You can also send it via PM or Email if you want.

Hi Franco,
So weird, I never ever got this reply in my mailbox!
I ignored this issue but I am trying the load balancer again. This time I'm getting a different error. Attached is my config.
This time i get the following error: relayd[28071]: fatal: cannot add rule: Operation not supported by device
The service starts for a short period of time before exiting out.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi Franco,
FYI, on another config, If i change Monitor to SMTP in Pool Setup. The relayd service never starts up. It just complains that there is a syntax error.

OMG! I just changed the Virtual Server mode to Relay and it worked!.
Why cant we not use Redirect for Web Load Balancing?

If anyone has this problem have a look at https://github.com/opnsense/core/issues/565
Basically launch the shell and run 'pkg install -f relayd' to force a reinstallaion of relayd.

Hi Javier,
Thanks for checking back. I tested your config, it works fine. So did the package reinstall solve this completely? :)
Cheers,
Franco
PS: You can also reinstall packages with the click of a button from the firmware GUI page (tab packages).
