Title: Firefox nightly..
Post by: Zeitkind on May 29, 2016, 01:44:03 pm
... seems to be at bit broken atm, dashboard not rendered at all - empty space. Just FYI if anyone uses nightly Firefox builds and wonders if OPNSense has a problem. It's more likely a Firefox problem.

happens on my stable FF 45.1.0 as well.

Workaround is to enable decoding URL hashes:

Funny thing: FF 50 nightly renders it again, though uses only 1 column.. ^^

This looks like the problem that we fix for, er, Safari and iOS if I recall correctly. The column detection does not seem to work in the nightly build, or at least differently.

Just installed Nightly, previously-configured dashboard shows the correct 2 column layout.

Won't this fix after adjusting the layout (drag and drop) and save?

I know this is currently a problem in the default config.xml, but Jos already suggested adjusting it in prep for 16.7.

FF nightly on Mac OS X, newest version seem to work if I manually rearrange and drag the parts around. Holds a refresh, so let's wait and see..

I think was it. There is no auto-layout anymore as it looked worse with more columns in place.

I've adjusted the defaults in the config.xml, new installs won't have this problem anymore.
