Title: OPNSENSE SERIAL CONSOLE

Hi All,

I have a Netgate 6100 Max and would like to run latest OPNsense.

-- Netgate 6100 Max is UEFI boot only and no bios option to run MBR.

Q. Is there a installer image which does UEFI and is configured for Serial Console?

That's how it reads but I'm pretty sure the serial also supports UEFI. Try it.

Tried, serial image does not support UEFI.

How to make VGA Image serial compatible??

Hi Patrick,

So my issue is resolved using Serial Image thanks to your help.

My issue was that after installing this image I had no UEFI boot entries for OPNsense, tried multiple times and multiple restarts.

Fix was to unplug electrically the unit and then plug back in, OPNsense UEFI boot is now in the list and all is working fine.
