Hi,
thanks for the new update. On macOS 12.3 using Safari, the web GUI was working fine with the previous version.
With this one, Safari keeps "Initialising" and the bar stops at 50%.
Chrome works fine.
Tried clearing browser cache, rebooting macOS, OPNsense, all to no avail.
OPNsense 22.1.4_1-amd64

Just to confirm that I have exactly the same issue on OPNsense 22.1.4_1-amd64
-
To add my own post. In addition to original poster, I tried the following:
- removed all sensei packages and reinstalled them
- rebooted the firewall and tried access with different browsers
I still hangs at about 50 % on the ”Initializing…” page
-
Same issue with chrome on iPad
-
I have the same issue on safari
With chrome it is working.
-
In my case, it appears to be working on Windows machines but not on iOS machines.
-
Hi all,
It will be fixed with the upcoming bug-fix release. Thanks for reporting the issue.
-
Thank you! 👍

I have the same issue, macosx 10. However using waterfox I got to the zenarmour pages.
Still initialising on Safari though the status page for opnsense shows its working ok.
Attached is the Safari error from the web inspector.
Hope zenarmour isnt going to go on the list of Safari hating websites :)

Not sure if this is associated with sensei, but doing an audit (connectivity) I cannot access the mirror, however with safari it is accessible. Not being able to access mirror (tried an alternate in another country) will result in audit errors.
and a reduced plugins list (only the ones all-ready installed)
I bypassed sensi (via the waterfox browser), but audit still failed.
From the error message, the updater does a ping first, which failed, which suggested a UDP issue.
Checking connectivity for host: mirrors.dotsrc.org -> 130.225.254.116
PING 130.225.254.116 (130.225.254.116): 1500 data bytes
--- 130.225.254.116 ping statistics ---
4 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100.0% packet loss
But
ping mirrors.dotsrc.org
PING mirrors.dotsrc.org (130.225.254.116): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 130.225.254.116: icmp_seq=0 ttl=52 time=94.976 ms
Weird
Can someone else confirm this.

They say Safari is the new IE :)
A newly introduced JS code was incompatible with Safari. We've fixed it.
We'll ship a patch release shortly. (Hopefully Monday).
In the meantime, feel free to use another browser while managing Zenarmor.

Thanks

I have installed 22.1.5, but the issue is still there on Safari. Was the patch included in 22.1.5, if not when will the patch be released?

Already patched:

fixed it for me.

added patch
rebooted
on osx 10.15.7 with safari 15.4 not working
on osx 12.3.1 with safari 15.5 not working
It used to work last month, so I am at a loss what has changed.
Waterfox still works.

Hi,
Could it be a cache problem? Can you try in a private window?
-
caches cleared, no change, attached is the error message, and the screenshot of initialising
re private window, no difference
BTW it worked perfectly prior to the latest update.
-
Finally Engine update 1.11.1 fixes the issue with Safari, for me anyway.
Perhaps better pre release testing should take priority over New Features.
