Title: Problem with wifi NIC after 22.1 update
Post by: Rickytr on February 07, 2022, 07:39:15 am
After 22.1 update I have a problem with a WiFi interface that I use as a WAN backup. It cannot connect and obtain the IP via dhcp if the SSID is hidden. I used to have the SID hidden for a long time without a problem. Is there something I’m missing?

Hi,

Entirely unsure about what what could cause this. We haven't changed the wireless code between 21.7 and 22.1.. do you have any logs to share with errors?

Cheers,
Franco

This is the only error that I can see when I try to reload the interface (Interfaces -> Overview):

/usr/local/etc/rc.configure_interface: The command '/sbin/dhclient -c '/var/etc/dhclient_opt2.conf' -p '/var/run/dhclient.run0_wlan1.pid' 'run0_wlan1'' returned exit code '1', the output was 'run0_wlan1: no link .............. giving up'

Is there something else that I can try?
