Title: [SOLVED] Console update to 15.1.8-LibreSSL not working
Post by: weust on March 25, 2015, 09:11:01 pm
I am trying to update my 15.1.7.2_1-bdd927343 (amd64) LibreSSL installation to 15.1.8 using the console option (12) but it seems not a lot is happening.

Reading the announcement, it would appear a LibreSSL version update is available too?

I will wait for a response here, before I do a GUI update and console update command.

Tom, the LibreSSL version wasn't assembled yet. We are about to push a 15.1.8.1 addressing a few immediate config system issues. 15.1.8.1-LibreSSL will likely be available on Friday. Sorry about the delay.

Aah, that explains it.
I thought it was released as well, because of a mention of LibreSSL in the changelog.

No problem, I will wait till Friday.

If you like, you can remove this topic. But maybe add to the 15.1.8 topic that the LibreSSL is slightly delayed?

You are right. I have tried to make it a little more clear. Please remember LibreSSL is still experimental and it does not apply to the current release announcements of our supported version based on OpenSSL. :)

Ah, that would also explain it :-)
I just like living on the edge ;-)
